IMSI Catcher – Tactical Mobile Device Identification and Interception
Phantom Technologies’ IMSI Catcher is an advanced cellular surveillance and intelligence system used to identify, locate, and monitor mobile devices by capturing unique subscriber and device identifiers such as IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) in a designated area.
Deployed globally by law enforcement, intelligence, and military units, the IMSI catcher simulates a legitimate Base Transceiver Station (BTS) to establish passive or active connections with nearby mobile phones, enabling covert operations for tracking, threat detection, and communication analysis.

IMSI/IMEI Detection
Detects and logs all mobile devices within range, capturing IMSI and IMEI numbers to assist in threat identification, intelligence gathering, and suspect tracking. -
Targeted Surveillance
Supports selective monitoring of predefined target lists based on IMSI, IMEI, or MSISDN, with configurable priority levels. -
2G/3G Protocol Support
Compatible with both GSM and UMTS networks. For 3G targets, the system can trigger a network downgrade to 2G for enhanced interception capabilities. -
Modular BTS Design (Software Defined Radio)
The IMSI 400 platform supports up to 8 BTS units per drawer, with scalable architecture allowing multiple drawers. Each BTS is a fully Software Defined Radio (SDR), enabling quick switching between GSM and UMTS as needed. -
Real-Time Monitoring & Logging
Displays all active devices, signal strength, operating times, and captured identifiers in real time. Data is stored for further analysis and reporting.
